What is Vitamin K1?
Vitamin K was first discovered in 1929 and given the term koagulationsvitamin, a German word. This explains where the letter K came from. Vitamin K1 is a fat-soluble vitamin, found in three main forms within the body. There are several sub-groups within these forms, each being absorbed slightly differently by the body. The scientific term of Vitamin K1 is Phylloquinone, found in foods of plant origin due to its manufacture via photosynthesis. Foods containing large quantities of Vitamin K1 include kale, spinach, swiss chard, parsley, green lettuce, broccoli and Brussels sprouts.
Benefits of Vitamin K1
Vitamin K is commonly supplemented in the diet as it contributes to blood clotting due to its role within the formation of four coagulation factors (substances that initiate blood clotting). It also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.

Our Vitamin K1 tablets are provided in a manageable diameter of 6mm, our smallest and easiest to swallow tablet. We offer four product quantities to suit your requirements.
This product is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

Certain medications may interact with Vitamin K1, including anticoagulants, and Vitamin K1 supplements should not be taken alongside these medications.
We recommend that both the 500 and 1,000 tablet options are more suitable for use by more than one person. This is to ensure that you are receiving full use of the product before its expiry date. For one person's use, we recommend the 120 or 240 tablet options.

Shipping is via Royal Mail 1st Class We dispatch orders on weekdays up to 5 pm. Royal mail quote delivery times 1-2 days for 1st class and 2-3 days for 2nd class. Delays can happen, If delivery takes more than 5 working days for a UK order - please contact us immediately. For Europe, orders can take 10-14 Days. We are sorry but we do not dispatch our products to the rest of the world.
