Origins of Tribulus Terrestris Tribulus Terrestris - also known as goat’s-head and devil’s-thorn, amongst other names - is an annual herbaceous plant belonging to the caltrop family. It is native to the tropical regions of Africa and Southern Eurasia and has since been naturalised across America. It is a hardy and invasive species that have adapted to grow in tough, dry climates in which other plants struggle to survive. Tribulus Terrestris has been used for thousands of years across the world. Traditionally, Tribulus Terrestris was used in Ayurvedic practice and Traditional Chinese Medicine as an aphrodisiac and to treat various sexual disorders. Nowadays, the shoots and leaves of the plant are still consumed as a food source in East Asia. The main active substances in Tribulus Terrestris are steroidal saponins. Shipping is via Royal Mail 1st Class We dispatch orders on weekdays up to 5 pm. Royal mail quote delivery times 1-2 days for 1st class and 2-3 days for 2nd class. Delays can happen, If delivery takes more than 5 working days for a UK order - please contact us immediately. For Europe, orders can take 10-14 Days. We are sorry but we do not dispatch our products to the rest of the world. We apologise for this lengthy period of time, unfortunately, express courier services are uneconomical to use with low priced products.
