What is Manganese?
In 1774, a Swedish chemist known by Johan Gottlieb Gahn discovered a pink object with a grey hue. This was given the name Manganese after the Latin term for magnet, magnes, since most of the Manganese element is used in conjunction with steel to increase the metal’s strength. Manganese is a mineral that is naturally found in tea, bread, nuts, cereals and green vegetables - peas and runner beans are good examples of Manganese-rich vegetables.
Benefits of Manganese
The body requires Manganese to function correctly and to the best of its ability. Manganese contributes to normal energy metabolism by aiding the production and activation of certain enzymes in the body, useful for breaking down food. The mineral also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and the normal function of connective tissue, which is why Manganese is very popular for supplementing bone health. In addition, Manganese protects cells from oxidative stress.

Please note - we recommend that both the 500 and 1,000 tablet options are more suitable for use by more than one person. This is to ensure that you are receiving full use of the product before its expiry date. For one person's use, we recommend the 120 or 240 tablet options.
