What is MSM?
Methyl-Sulphonyl-Methane, or MSM for abbreviation purposes, is a natural chemical that occurs in green plants, animals and humans. The chemical is a natural source of Sulphur which is the fourth most abundant mineral in our body. 34% of MSM's composition is made up of Sulphur, making MSM the richest source of Sulphur available to us. MSM naturally occurs in foods in very small amounts, making supplements a more effective method at attaining MSM. Foods that do include MSM include fruit, corn, tomatoes, tea, coffee and milk. Sulphur is found in a wider array of foods, including seafood, eggs, cheese, milk, walnuts, almonds, peaches and garlic.
Benefits of MSM
MSM is required in the production of glycosaminoglycans, a viscous sugar that lubricates joints. Sulphur is also needed for several amino acids such as methionine and cysteine, hence why Sulphur is often found in protein-rich foods. These amino acids produce enzymes which are critical for bodily functions and without Sulphur, these enzymes may be lacking. Sulphur is also present in glutathione, an antioxidant which protects DNA, lipids and proteins from oxidative damage which has a harmful effect.
Our MSM tablets
Our MSM tablets contain 1,000mg MSM (1g). This means that our MSM tablets are offered in the large torpedo shape. We recommend avoiding this product if you have trouble swallowing - why not try our MSM powder?
Please note - we recommend that both the 500 and 1,000 product options are more suitable for use by more than one person. This is to ensure that you are receiving full use of the product before its expiry date. For one person's use, we recommend the 120 or 240 tablet options.

Shipping is via Royal Mail 1st Class We dispatch orders on weekdays up to 5 pm. Royal mail quote delivery times 1-2 days for 1st class and 2-3 days for 2nd class. Delays can happen, If delivery takes more than 5 working days for a UK order - please contact us immediately. For Europe, orders can take 10-14 Days.
