What is Spirulina?

Spirulina is a blue-green form of algae. It is grown and extracted from freshwater lakes. However, due to its recent popular demand, it is now specifically farmed. The origin of Spirulina is from the tropical lakes of Africa and South America. Spirulina is highly adaptable, it can survive and even thrive in environments not best suited to the growth of other organisms (Desert, high salt, and volcanic areas).

Spirulina is rich in protein and a good source of fibre. Its origin of use dates back to the Aztec era of History, it is now widely used in Chinese medicine.

Our Spirulina is certified by the Organic Food Federation, we aim to ensure that you get the highest quality product on the market.

Our Spirulina contains no fillers or excipients, only the active ingredient. 

Please note - we recommend the 500 and 1,000 tablet options for more than one person's use. This is to ensure that you can get full use of the product before its Expiry Date. For one person's use, we recommend the 120 or 240 tablet option.

Spirulina - incorrect dosage

I would like to highlight that the recommended daily dose of Spirulina is 4500mg - so you need to take 9 tablets daily a few hours before eating to get the required daily dose. I wrote to Oxford Vitality illustrating to them that their packaging was incorrect and they said they would change it to be factual. I hope they do.

Organic Spirulina Tablets

I use to buy the powder form before. It was not easy for me to use, as i will need to clean up any spillage when mixing with water and cleaning the cup used. But now with the tablets , it is a lot easy for me to take and the size is small enough i can swallow easily. The tablets are also stable and do not crumple in the pack. I am recommending this product from Oxford vitality .

Shipping is via Royal Mail 1st Class We dispatch orders on weekdays up to 5 pm. Royal mail quote delivery times 1-2 days for 1st class and 2-3 days for 2nd class. Delays can happen, If delivery takes more than 5 working days for a UK order - please contact us immediately. For Europe, orders can take 10-14 Days.
