What is Alpha Lipoic Acid?
Alpha Lipoic Acid or ALA (also seen as α-Lipoic Acid or Thioctic acid) is an essential fatty acid that is naturally sourced in yeast, liver, kidney, spinach, broccoli and potatoes. The chemical compound is found in every cell of the human body. It is soluble in water and in lipid-based tissues.

Oxford Vitality's Alpha Lipoic Acid powder contains pure alpha lipoic fatty acid. It can be used by everyone - it’s suitable for vegetarians and vegans, as well as being halal.
At Oxford Vitality we look for versatility, something that is provided in this product from the three portion sizes to the powder form. We recommend adding our powder to a smoothie for a nutritious addition.
Please note - this product does not include a scoop and this supplement requires the use of scales. We recommend the use of digital scales which are accurate to 0.01g. If you do not have scales available, one serving of our Alpha Lipoic Acid (250mg) roughly equates to one level 1/8 teaspoon. 1/8 teaspoon measurements are widely available for purchase.

Shipping is via Royal Mail 1st Class We dispatch orders on weekdays up to 5 pm. Royal mail quote delivery times 1-2 days for 1st class and 2-3 days for 2nd class. Delays can happen, If delivery takes more than 5 working days for a UK order - please contact us immediately. For Europe, orders can take 10-14 Days.
