Vitamin C:
Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin, also known as Ascorbic Acid. It was isolated from its natural sources in a lab and discovered by Albert Szent-Györgyi in 1928. It is found naturally occurring in some citrus fruits as well as other fruits and vegetables such as bell peppers, strawberries and white potatoes.
Vitamin C has many roles in the human body. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, skin and teeth. It also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Rosehip:
Rosehip is the fruit found below the petals on a rose flower. Our Rosehip is extracted from Rosa Canina roses, also known as the Dog Rose, which is native to Europe, North-west Africa and Western Asia. Rosehip is renowned for its Vitamin C content, providing it with antioxidative properties.
Rosa Canina helps to contribute to the body’s defences and being a source of Vitamin C contributes to the support of the natural body's resistance.
Acerola:
Acerola, also known as the Barbados cherry, is a fruit native to the Western Hemisphere. It is similar to the cherry fruit and turns a deep red colour when ripe. The Acerola we use contains 25% Vitamin C.
Citrus Bioflavonoids:
These are compounds found naturally in citrus fruits, which are naturally high in Vitamin C. It contributes to helping to support relaxation and physical well-being.
To be taken as a supplement alongside a healthy and balanced diet. Take 1 tablet 2 times per day, preferably with meals, do not exceed the stated dose. Suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians.
